
Installation of phpBB will vary according to your server and database. If your server or hosting account does not meet the requirements above then you will be unable to install phpBB 3.3.x. Presence of the following modules within PHP will provide access to additional features, but they are not required: PHP 7.3.0+ up to and including PHP 8.1 with support for the database you intend to use.
